The Research School is open to highly qualified and motivated applicants from all countries.
Applicants should hold a Master's or other degree comparable to a German University Diploma in biological, chemical or physical sciences.
The Research School is committed to an equal opportunity policy. We therefore welcome and encourage the application of qualified female candidates.

Forschungszentrum Jülich, the universities in Düsseldorf and Cologne, and Forschungszentrum caesar Bonn offer projects for a PhD thesis.

The teaching language is English; sufficient command of the language is required for acceptance. Linguistic proficiency can be demonstrated by taking a standardised test (e.g., the TOEFL). Selected applicants will be invited for an interview with faculty members.
We will process applications next time on February 15, afterwards on March 14. Application documents that are complete on these dates will be forwarded to IHRS BioSoft faculty members for review. We prefer applications via email to admission_biosoft@fz-juelich.de.
