Prof. Dr. Georg Büldt
Georg Büldt studied physics at the Technical University Berlin. He obtained his PhD from the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the University of Mainz in 1972. In 1974 he became research assistant in the Biocentre of the University of Basel where he habilitated in Biophysics in 1978. From 1982-1992 he was Professor for Biophysics in the Department of Physics at the Free University of Berlin. In 1993 he became Director of the INB-2/I Molecular Biophysics I at the Institute of Neuroscience and Biophysics (INB) at the Research Centre Jülich and Professor at the Institute of Physical Biology at the Heinrich-Heine-University of Düsseldorf.
