Study of plant biomechanics in growing tissues. Spatio-temporal mapping of responses of growth and transport in plants to external and internal forces as well as exchange processes with the environments by a wide range of non-invasive techniques like MRI, optical image sequence analysis, positron emission tomography, thermography and laser absorption tomography, electrophysiology and microscopy techniques.
