My current research interests include the properties of supercritical microemulsions, the use of self-assembled systems as template materials for nanomaterial synthesis, the thermo diffusion behaviour of aqueous surfactant systems and microemulsions as well as the implementation of stroboscopic small angle neutron scattering (TISANE) at the Institut Laue Langevin (ILL, Grenoble), which will enable the study of the kinetics and dynamics in condensed matter on a micro-second time scale.
