The first-year transferable skills seminar in December 2009 with participants
from Helmholtz Research Schools from all over Germany took place in a hotel
in Cologne. This first out of the three courses of Imperial College London
raises the awareness for skills that help to successfully conduct the PhD
project, such as project planning and time management, group dynamics
and teamwork, conflict and collaboration.
