The lecture series covers the topic "Microemulsions". Beginning with simple ternary microemulsions, the phase behaviour, interfacial tensions and the microstructure will be explained. The lectures cover and summarize a wealth of information coming out of our 25 years of own research on this matter. Towards the end, quarternary and quinary microemulsion systems as well as practical applications will be discussed.
